In 2009, the directors of Write Out Loud, Veronica Murphy, and Walter Ritter asked Dora to read one of her stories in their show. They created a card with the list of writers on the show "From Russia With Love." Stories of Russia and her people: Babel, Chekov, Nabokov, Tolstoy and Dora Klinova
She laughed! Her name was right there with the most outstanding Russian Writers. Incredible! She was flattered, and she liked it. Dora grew up with these writers' books and read them in their original Russian language. No comparison with the best translation. Dora wants to believe that the spirit she had absorbed in her youth helps her now and continuously leads her writing.
